Joe Ricciardi's Bio

"Let us make unto the Lord a Joyful Noise…"

When you see Christian Guitarist Joe Ricciardi onstage, you will see true joy of service to the Lord. From his passionate approach to worship tunes to his high-energy solos you get the true impression that playing guitar is truly his calling from the Lord.

Joe can reliably back up a band playing acoustic or rhythm guitar, or jump out in front with a cutting edge solo. Whatever he is called on to do, he does with aplomb. Although you can hear the Allman Brothers’ melodic approach in Joe’s solos and fills, Joe’s roots are as varied as they come – from the soft acoustic sounds of James Taylor, to cutting edge Joe Satriani shredding, or the echo-laced sounds of The Edge. Joe’s strong tenor vocal harmonies can add to any ministry’s "wall of sound", strengthening the worship experience for the event.

Joe’s strongest quality is his ability to blend in with a band at a moment’s notice. His strong faith and interpersonal skills make him an asset to any worship team.

Currently Joe is touring with Bill Drake, the Christian artist serving as the international worship leader for Operation Mobilization. When he is not out on tour, Joe can be seen regularly touring with Bill Drake or wherever he is called to serve.

Joe can also be heard on Bill Drake’s new CD "Aroma", available from www.billdrake.com.

Joe is available to assist your ministry today – feel free to contact him anytime!

"Joe is the natural choice for my band; his heart is for the Lord, and his skills serve my music perfectly" – Bill Drake, International Worship Leader, Operation Mobilization.

"I needed a guitarist for my ministry; I called Joe because his heart is pure and joyful. The feedback on Joe’s contribution to our sound [from our middle and high school students] has been exceptional" – Gerald Malloy, Singer/Songwriter/Worship Leader

Joe 7:37 (Joe’s version of Gospel!)

Joe got the urge to play guitar after hearing a rendition of “Let’s Get Together” when he was seven. In and out of bands during college had Joe playing regularly in bands while attending Purdue University. After graduation, Joe recorded with Steve Jager and US1 on a single “Stuck on You”, which received regional airplay.

Shortly afterwards, Joe recorded with Star*Rider, a hard rocking foursome from Connecticut which played the Connecticut coastline for a few years.

In recent years, Joe has begun expanding his music repertoire by playing at various churches in the Atlanta area. His passionate and melodic playing has become his trademark, and ministers and worship leaders are quickly voicing their approval of Joe’s high-energy worship on the guitar.
